The Blog is just a spot to put out some notes, latest news, and other stuff...  Really nothing too important...

April 2017 - Grandparenthood has been GREAT! But it has put our pilgramage on hold! We are pretty busy, and VERY happy, tending to the grandkids. In the mean time, my old webpage was having security issues due to age.  So I am rebuilding it. Let me know what you think.  May God Bless you all!

February 2016 - Welcome to 2016! Boy did we take a break! Yes, we've been on hiatus since October.  No good excuses, just reasons each of the last few months kept us from making trips. This month is no better, and I am sure the coming months will be the same, as we are always "busy" but we are getting back on track and will try to get more trips planned and made. We don't ever want this to become a chore, so perhaps it will take us until we are 75 instead of 65, but whatever God decides, we are good with.  This month we are off to St. Bernard in Green Bay!

May 2015 - May has been a pretty busy month for us and we didn't make a trip.  There was Fish Camp on the first weekend, Mothers Day, and trips to Wausau. Nothing big, but just enough to keep us busy. But we WILL be back ont he trail next month!  God Bless you all!

January 2015 - 2014 was a GREAT year, perhaps the best of my life!  Our pilgrimage has progressed and we made it to 6 new parishes last year.  Overall, I am guessing making 10 new parishes (meaning one more a month, but skipping 2 months a year) will be more realistic that 12 a year, God willing of course.  It is harder than I expected, especially with Mass at Holy Trinity twice a month now (which started in August) that we can't miss.  That leaves us 2 (sometimes 3) weekends a month to make a trip and things get busy and there are often conflicts.  But if we stay the course, we have 146 parish left to visit, we can finish our pilgrimage by the year 2030.  That is a scary statement!

November 2014 - We missed another month... We had All Souls Day, All Saints Day, and Masses for John that we attended. Along with other stuff going on, including hunting, we skipped.  I am guessing this will not be terribly uncommon, but we are still looking to our goal.  God willing of course...  Bless you!

July 2014 - We missed our trip this month...  It was a busy month in that it was summer, we started having regular Masses at our parish, Holy Trinity, for the first time in 13 years, and work has been a bit crazy! No real good excuses, but I am guessing it is going to happen, and we will just need to deal with it and continue on.  If we don't make it, that is life.  God Bless you all on YOUR journey!
